Colin reached the Quarter-Finals at Saturdays event & the last 16 on Sunday (31/08/08).

Saturday

First Round: Colin met Dave Ladley in the first round where he won a tight game, 3-2 in sets.

Last 64: He then met Willem Kralt who was in superb form. This match went to a final set, Colin winning 3-2.

Last 32: Colin played very well to get past Micchael Van Gerwen 3-2 in sets, in what was a tough match.

Last 16: He then powered past Mervyn King 3-1 in sets.

Quarter-Final: Colin had to wait over an hour to play his last 8 game, where he lost out to Andy Hamilton.

Sunday

First Round: Colin defeated Rolf Kaiser in straight sets.

Last 64: Colin then came from behind to defeat Brendan Dolan in the deciding set.

Last 32: He then defeated Michael Van Gerwen for the 2nd time in so many days, once again coming from behind, having been 2-0 down!

Last 16: Colin then came up against Mervyn King, where he was unfortunate to lose 3-2 in sets.
