Colin Lloyd did not have the most successful weekend as he lost out in the first round at Saturdays Players Championship to Martyn Turner. Sunday saw Colin reach the last 64 where he ran into the eventual winner Mark Walsh.
Colin reached the quarter finals at the Players Championship where he narrowly lost out to Jamie Caven in a deciding leg. His run included wins over Denis Ovens, Dave Askew and Peter Manley. Sunday saw Jaws lose to Anton Liscsey 6-4 in the last 64 after having defeated Stuart Bousfield 6-0.
Colin claimed victory in the opening floor event of 2010, defeating Wayne Jones 6-2 to win the Stan James Eddie Cox Memorial Trophy. He also recorded victories over Mervyn King and Colin Osborne. He reached the last 32 at Sundays event.

Colin lost out in the last 16 to eventual winner, Adrian Lewis at Saturdays event. Jaws had previuosly defeated Joe Cullen 6-3 & Paul Nicholson 6-2. Sunday saw Nicholson get his revenge as he defeated Lloyd in the last 32 6-5. Colin defeated Kevin McDine 6-3 in the earlier round.
Colin lost out in Group 4 of the competition, finishing 7th in the table. Jaws however, did have a successful victory in the group defeating Adrian Lewis 6-2.

Colin reached the final in Wigan today. Jaws overcame Anastasia Dombromyslova 6-2, Ken Dobson 6-1, Co Stompe 6-5, Colin Osborne 6-2, Alan Tabern 6-2 & Louis Blundell 6-5 to reach the final. However, Dennis Priestley won the event 6-1.

Colin reached the last 64 in Irvine today, he played very well and defeated Kevin Dowling 6-3 in the first round before losing in a final leg decider against Sean Palfrey 6-5. Colin fought back from 4-1 down but unfortunately missed 2 darts at double for the match.

Colin was suffering from a bad back this weekend but still played through the pain. In the first event he lost 6-3 to Braulio Roncero. Sunday saw Jaws win 6-0 then 6-3 against Tony Ayres to reach the last 32, where he lost 6-3 to Klaasen.
Friday 13th March "Jaws" will be paying a visit to Stockport Sports Academy. He will be taking part in an Exhibition for the College students in there state of the art theatre.
